History

STEPOLO's founding concept was to provide new innovative Web 2.0 technology solutions and websites to customers. STEPOLO, also provides creative designs to clients by offering pioneering web-based solutions. In 2007, STEPOLO was established in Atlanta, Georgia and founded by Dr. Stephen Rotimi Olowoye providing groundbreaking innovative web-based solutions to customers in around the globe.

The company comprises of thought-leaders and innovators, embracing multiple disciplines (architecture, software, graphic design, human-centered technology and visualization) and industries (software, Internet, interactive media).

Executive Team

Dr. Stephen Rotimi Olowoye is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of STEPOLO. Stephen is responsible for driving STEPOLO's strategic efforts with particular attention to directing the evolution of the STEPOLO web-based application development framework to meet the requirements of next-generation Web 2.0 technology. Stephen has consulted for organizations such as T-mobile, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and higher educational institutions in the United States, such as Georgia State University and Spelman College. Furthermore, Stephen also consulted for pharmaceutical companies such as Astra Zeneca and GlaxoSmithKline in the United Kingdom amongst others. Stephen has a Ph.D. in International Affairs and Development from Clark Atlanta University, a Masters of Arts degree in Communication Policy Studies from City University of London, and a Bachelors of Science degree in Computing and Mathematics from the University of North London.

Tara Stubbs-Olowoye is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of STEPOLO. Tara is responsible for project management, program evaluation, strategy development, and driving profitable growth of STEPOLO's portfolio and marketing communications. She brings extensive research, evaluation and development experience and leadership to the team. Tara was the Special Assistant to the President of the Police Foundation in Washington D.C., working closely with the United States Congress and other non-traditional agents in humanitarian work, capacity building, and program evaluation. Before that, she was External Evaluator and Program Coordinator for Refugee Women’s Network in Atlanta, Georgia. Tara completed the coursework for a doctoral degree in Sociology at Georgia State University. Tara has a Masters of Arts in Sociology from the University of West Georgia and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Sociology, Christianity, and French from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

Kevin Goolsby is the Creative Director. Kevin is responsible for all creative projects and staff. Kevin is in charge for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department. He manages creative projects from concept to completion, translating marketing objectives into creative strategies, and directing the creative team in the production of advertising and marketing collateral. Kevin has several years of leadership experience, an accessible digital portfolio, a thorough understanding of information architecture, and proven project management skills. Kevin has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Graphic Designs from Savannah College of Arts and Design, Georgia.
